Located at 603 S. 5th St. this is the birthplace and home of Vachel Lindsay.
Lindsay was a poet and artist during the early 1900's. He is best know for poems suchs as "Lincoln Walk at Midnight" which tells of Lincolns ghostly return to his old neighborhood.
Tours are offered year round and guides inform about the life and times of Lindsay, his family and his untimely death.
